The top blue notice gives conditions for using the permissive path - see SU9486 : Permissive path notice in Egypt Woods for details. The other concerns dead wood:
"Dead trees are retained in these woods for the benefit of wildlife.
For your own safety do not move away from the way-marked public or permissive footpaths.
The Portman Estate shall not be liable for any personal injury, damage to property or other losses sustained by walkers who stray away from the public or permissive footpaths."

By arrangement with the Forestry Commission, the Portman Burtley Estate allows access on permissive paths through Egypt Woods and Dorney Wood. The permissive paths link to roads and public footpaths North of Burnham Beeches.
