An elegant building and a excellent photograph of a Travel Centre
NS5864 : Travel Centre, Glasgow.
If my memory serves me correctly this building was formerly the St Enoch Station building for the Glasgow Corporation Subway (underground). I presume that the station was relocated when the victorian system was "modernised" in the early 1980s (or late 1970s) and the new station is a shop front somewhere round the back.
Hopefully the victorian grandure of the building is not lost on visitors from Northern Ireland (such as the photographer) and from near and far (e.g. Edinburgh).
If this was the former undergrounf station then perhaps the picture could be credited with that information.
