Pinchbeck Pumping Stations
Pinchbeck Pumping Stations
The three pump facilities at Pinchbeck can be seen in the photo. On left, the original 1833 steam-powered facility which is now a museum. On the right, its 1952 replacement and in the rear, the 2015 pump house. The 1952 and 2015 pumps now act as backup for each other, with the more modern pumps usually acting as primaries.
