SE3030 : Tunnel on the Middleton Railway

taken 8 years ago, near to Beeston, Leeds, England

Tunnel on the Middleton Railway
Tunnel on the Middleton Railway
The tunnel is relatively modern, and should better be described as an underpass, as it carries the M621 (built 1972) over the railway which is at ground level. It is fortunate that the preserved railway was already running when the motorway was built, otherwise the alignment would have been blocked permanently.
