Foggintor Quarry, Dartmoor
Foggintor Quarry, Dartmoor
A former industrial landscape now being reclaimed by Nature. Foggintor was one of the largest quarries on Dartmoor during its working life in the 19th century. More than 300 workers were employed at its peak, some of them living in barracks at the quarry itself.
