Drilling Rigs in Cromarty Firth
Drilling Rigs in Cromarty Firth
The number of drilling rigs in Cromarty Firth is a reflection of the price of oil, so when the price is high, the firth is empty, when its low, the firth is full. In 2016, there were at least a dozen rigs standing idle along the firth (see article in the Daily Record LinkExternal link for more discussion).
