south gorley footpath used to lead to RAF Site 5. I lived there as a child in 1952 in the ex RAF nissen huts.
the site is now part of the farm in view. They planted Xmas trees in 1988 but the business failed and the trees are now mature 30 feet tall and the paddock now is home to pigs.
