Confirmation the "leaf fall" season is almost upon us as DRS diesel locomotive 66302 approaches Upper Denton level crossing with Network Rail water jet tanks heading from York Thrall Europa to Carlisle Kingmoor. These tanks will be used for the application of sandite, a substance designed to combat leaves on the line - see Wikipedia at: LinkExternal link
