Okehampton Station was closed to passengers in 1972, but recently Devon County Council has sponsored a Dartmoor Sunday Rover initiative aimed at visitors to the area.
As part of this, Great Western Railway are operating a Sunday only service from Exeter to Okehampton during the summer months.
During the journey there was a passenger survey going on which seemed to be aimed at assessing the viability of restoring a weekday service.
So let's wait and see.
