Summerhouse, Fittie (IV)
Summerhouse, Fittie (IV)
The fishermen's cottages in the planned village of Fittie (Footdee) had associated 'tarry sheds' made of driftwood and found materials to presumably store fishing nets and suchlike. In recent decades many of the sheds have rebuilt as idiosyncratic summer houses and chalets with quirky decorations and are now one of the most striking and enjoyable features of the village.
