SE4153 : Road to nowhere

taken 2 years ago, near to Walshford, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Road to nowhere
Road to nowhere
This stub of road at Walshford appears to have become redundant twice-over. It is the old Great North Road, outside North Road cottages, first bypassed by the dual carriageway just to the south (now remodelled into single carriageway and cycle/horse track), and then by the new A1(M) slightly further east.
