Rye Hill House
Rye Hill House
Rye Hill House was built in 1840: originally a house, then a hospital, now part of Newcastle College. It is Grade II listed LinkExternal link - although this hasn't prevented it being effectively "wrapped" on three sides by ultra-modern steel and glass buildings.

Newcastle College is a Further Education and Higher Education college. It has a complex history, being an amalgamation of various colleges and training providers. The college is a part of a larger corporation called NCG (formerly the Newcastle College Group) LinkExternal link .
