Cycle superhighway, Blackfriars Bridge ramp
The ramp links the two central London cycle Superhighways, the north-south one that crosses Blackfriars Bridge with the east-west one along the Embankment. Blackfriars station in the background and two of the city's iconic buildings in the distance, the "walkie-talkie" and the Shard.
Central London Cycle Superhighways

To supplement the existing cycle "superhighways" on radial routes from the suburbs, two new and largely segregated routes have been added across the city centre, the east-west one running largely along the north side of the Thames.
