Working narrowboat at Glascote Locks, Staffordshire
Narrowboat "Emu" No 18 was built in 1926 at Yarwoods, and was fully refurbished in 2011, having been named "Tern" since 1949. It retains its Bolinder 15hp engine, which smokes and chunters throatily! LinkExternal link
Here, "Emu" is carrying a consignment of coal towards Coventry.
