Opened in 1859 by the Great Northern Railway on its line from London to Stevenage, this station for most of its life until 1982 had been called Wood Green.
View north towards New Southgate and Stevenage, also Bowes Park and Hertford. Since TQ3090 : Alexandra Palace railway station, Greater London was taken from a similar position 8 years earlier, a fence has now been erected on the southbound platform, and a new platform has appeared on the far right of the image.
