NZ3766 : Ghandi's Temple

taken 18 years ago, near to South Shields, South Tyneside, England

Ghandi's Temple
Ghandi's Temple
This wonderful neo Greek columned bandstand built in the 1930s also serves as a fine Public Convenience on the front at South Shields. Locally nicknamed as Ghandi's Temple probably because of its religious foreign look.
