The Evergreen Shrubbery and ha-ha, Croome Park
The Evergreen Shrubbery and ha-ha, Croome Park
This ha-ha beside the Evergreen Shrubbery is unusual in that it faces Croome Court, though it is not vissble from the house because it is sunken and hidden by the earth bank. The Evergreen Shrubbery has been cleared and replanted by the National Trust since acquiring the park in 1997 though this area flooded badly in the summer of 2007 resulting in the loss of many shrubs.
