SO2334 : Stony area on ridge of Darren Lwyd

taken 3 years ago, 3 km from Capel-y-Ffin, Powys, Great Britain

Stony area on ridge of Darren Lwyd
Stony area on ridge of Darren Lwyd
The broad ridge rising from Capel-y-ffin to Twmpa, otherwise known as Lord Hereford's Knob, is generally grassy with some heather. At this location however on a section of the ridge named as Darren Lwyd there's bare earth and rocks. The ridge beyond ends at Hay Bluff.
