Slag heap, Avonmouth

Link . Part of the spoil has been removed to make way for a distribution centre to the north, although progress has been hindered by the legacy of mustard gas production on the site during the First World War, and a mustard gas shell discovered in 2012 had to be disposed of at Porton Down.
