Ancient bridge
Ancient bridge
This bridge carries a footpath known as the "Kirkgate" over a small stream. The Kirkgate is the ancient path used by the inhabitants of the hamlet of Otterburn to reach the parish church at Kirkby Malham. It follows an almost direct line across the fields between the two places, a distance of about two miles.
