taken 20 years ago, near to Greencastle, Co Donegal, Ireland

Northburgh Castle
Northburgh Castle
"The castle represents a remarkable use of natural rock in the construction of a Norman castle at a strategic location on the sores of Lough Foyle. There was a Norman church attached to the castle, built around the same time: known as Teampall Maoil (Templemoyle) or St. Mary's, Northburg, it is presently in ruins." (From an info board at the castle entrance)
