Newark Park
Newark Park was originally Tudor hunting lodge built between in the mid-16th century for Sir Nicholas Poyntz. The house was subsequently extended during the mid-17th and late 18th centuries. The house stands on the Cotswold escarpment with fine views over South Gloucestershire and has been in the care of the National Trust since 1946.
