Helvellyn : Up Swirral Edge
Helvellyn : Up Swirral Edge
Heading up towards Swirral edge. Lots of alpine work being done on this brilliant day. We had no crampons and axes so we went up Cat Stye Cam to the right. The summit of Helvellyn is centre top of picture. Frozen Red Tarn can be seen bottom left.

Classical glacial formations all around. Five Star Scenery!
