Fackenden Lane
Fackenden Lane
Fackenden Lane bends sharply to the left here before heading steeply uphill into the woods and on to the plateau of the North Downs. This had been a very warm and dry late summer and autumn and the autumn colours had yet to fully appear.

The wispy seeds on the right belong to traveller's joy, also known as old man's beard - see LinkExternal link
