Catherine Booth was co-founder of The Salvation Army, along with her husband William Booth. This statue on Mile End Road was unveiled in 2016, opposite the statue of her husband TQ3581 : Statue of William Booth at Whitechapel. It is a replica of the statue by George Edward Wade which was erected on Champion Hill in London, next to the Salvation Army's training college in London in 1929.
