A Community Archaeology Dig
A Community Archaeology Dig
A nearby notice explains that "Cambridgeshire County Council has arranged this dig in preparation for work on the Chisholm Trail. At the same time they are taking the opportunity of working in partnership with Oxford Archaeology East, Cambridge Young Archaeologists Club, CamDig and Mill Road History Group as well as other volunteers and helpers to dig on the Leper Chapel meadows and the precincts of the chapel. If any significant archaeology is uncovered details will be reported on and that information shared with the community".
