SS9199 : Another angle on Pen Pych falls

taken 7 years ago, near to Blaenrhondda, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales

Another angle on Pen Pych falls
The rock which forms the falls is the 'Rhondda Member' (or the 'Rhondda Beds' in old parlance) of the Pennant Sandstone Formation. The vertical cliff section immediately right (east) of the falls gives a good feel for this rock - though beware, rockfall is clearly not infrequent!
