SD6986 : Dentdale Morning
taken 20 years ago, near to Dent, Cumbria, England

Dentdale Morning
Just after dawn on a lovely summer's morning, the dew soaking your feet. Looking up Dentdale towards Cowgill. The field patterns in the Dee valley break up as the ground rises into moorland on Aye Gill Pike on the left.
Dentdale is a hidden gem not visited by many as it's not easy to get to from Yorkshire. People travelling from the south up the M6 tend to give it a miss as the Lakes is so accessible. Dent is also formerly a West Riding of Yorkshire outpost which is now part of Cumbria. Five star scenery and walking available here.
