Alexandra Park - stream and footbridge
Alexandra Park - stream and footbridge
Parts of the main stream through the park was 'rewilded' in 2014 with native plants and coir rolls to slow the flow. The aim was to reduce pollution and help improve quality of maritime bathing water as the stream flows to the nearby sea. The scheme seems to have been successful and the stream is much more attractive than it was and rich in biodiversity.
