NT0077 : Frosty morning at Linlithgow Loch

taken 7 years ago, near to Linlithgow, West Lothian, Scotland

Frosty morning at Linlithgow Loch
Frosty morning at Linlithgow Loch
A large gathering of gulls were standing on the thin veneer of ice which has formed on the loch overnight. The small island often has Cormorants perched in the trees drying their wings. There is a footpath around the loch and from my viewpoint at the east end the Palace ruins and the tower of St.Michael's Church are visible.
