A frozen Blea Tarn
Thin ice covers most of the surface after several nights of below-zero temperatures. The Langdale Pikes look almost alpine with a thin topping of snow. I was lucky to get the sun - not long after arriving here it dipped behind the fells and plunged the tarn into shadow again.
