Recently completed block of apartments adjacent to Girton House that replaces an older Victorian building, see TQ2704 : Girton House, Kingsway, that was demolished around 2012, and was originally known as Walsingham Mansions. The plot to the right has now been vacant for a decade since the former Sackville Hotel was demolished after its roof collapsed during restoration in 2006.
