This superbly atmospheric piece is the work of Sally Matthews LinkExternal link and dates from 1987. Her picture title suggests that there may be nine boars but I could only find six or so. The location is hard to find as any marking has disappeared and trees fallen across the approach. They are made from mud, cement and brash formed over a framework of metal bar and chicken wire. As can be seen, the figures are gradually weathering back into the forest.
