One of a small number of tombs in the former St Paul's churchyard SJ9091 : Site of St Paul's, Portwood.

The inscriptions are now difficult to read but include the names of James Saxton who died September 17th 1881 aged 43 years and Mary his wife who died January 12th 1892 aged 50 years. Also Anne Saxton who died June 24th 1908 aged 70 years and John Saxton who died August 28th 1912 aged 76 years.
