Sefton Park Gates, Ullet Road
Sefton Park Gates, Ullet Road
The magnificent gates of Sefton Park at Ullet Road. The Mull granite columns of these gates were salvaged from St George's Hall after they were removed to facilitate the installation of the great organ. The park was officially opened to the public on 20th May 1872 by H.R.H. Prince Arthur, First Duke of Connaught and Strathern, the third son of Queen Victoria.
