The quarry is accessed by a track from the Bridestones to the south. This is a view from the north-west.
The Cloud (Congleton) :: SJ9063

The Cloud (sometimes also known as Bosley Cloud) is a distinctive hill east of Congleton, on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border, with a steep northern escarpment overlooking the Dane Valley. It represents the westernmost outcrop of the gritstone geology of the Staffordshire Moorlands as they meet the Cheshire Plain.

At 343 metres, its summit is at least 200m above the plain to the west and gives good views towards Manchester and (on a clear day) even Snowdonia.

The land around the summit is owned by the National Trust.
