All Saints Garden in December
All Saints Garden - seen here from All Saints Passage - is the site of a mediaeval church demolished in 1865 and replaced by G F Bodley's All Saints on nearby Jesus Lane. The cross commemorating the church and listing some notable parishioners, by Basil Champneys, dates from 1882. Beyond it is the huge nine-light east window of Trinity Chapel (1555-64) - "a house of prayer" according to the Latin inscription above the window.
