Paddock adjacent to Derwent Walk
Paddock adjacent to Derwent Walk
The small enclosure is on the north side of an old railway route between Newcastle upon Tyne and Consett, closed in 1962; it's now the route of a footpath known as The Derwent Walk. The old railway bed lies to the right of the image, over the fence. Nearby, behind the camera position, are the platforms of the old Lintz Green Station.
