View from the east. This side of the structure has largely succumbed to the action of the sea, although it has been well reconstructed to prevent further damage. Much of the ramp up to the charge floor has disappeared, as well as most of the easternmost kiln, of which part of the pot still remains. Modern revetment provides a level of protection against further erosion.
