Cabmen's Shelter, Russell Square
Cabmen's Shelter, Russell Square
The green hut is one of only 13 remaining cabmen's shelters in central London. They are all grade II listed buildings; this one was formerly located in Leicester Square until it was pedestrianised. They are a long-standing feature of the London scene providing the opportunity for cabbies to take a break and buy a cheap meal.
