'Verde' between Wellington Street & Pitt Street
Student accommodation building at Science Central. Designed for Downing by Ian Simpson Architects, the new £21m complex has 543 student residential bedrooms and opened in September 2016. The building with frontage on both roads with the main entrance at the v-shaped point is clad in a green glazed terracotta tile.
