SE2534 : Church of the Venerable Bede, Stanningley Road

taken 7 years ago, 3 km from Headingley, Leeds, England

Church of the Venerable Bede, Stanningley Road
Church of the Venerable Bede, Stanningley Road
Dedicated to the Northumbrian Monk from Jarrow, who wrote the Ecclesiastical History of the English People completed in the year 731.
This particular church was built in the 1930's, and I must admit - not the most beautiful edifice I have ever seen. It is located on Stanningley Road between Bramley and Armley in Leeds.
