Baskerville House - Birmingham
Baskerville House - Birmingham
Formerly known as the Civic Centre, Grade II listed Baskerville House was built in 1938 on the site of the former home of the printer John Baskerville. In Art Deco style, the architect was Thomas Cecil Howitt. After standing vacant for a number of years when Birmingham City Council vacated the building in 1998, it was purchased by Targetfollow. The building has undergone considerable renovation following their acquisition of it and now offers office accommodation. Photo submitted today, the 46th anniversary of my leaving home. Time taken 2.39 pm BST (British Summer Time).
