Pockmarked sands, Nanjizal beach
The sand here is exposed by the ebbing tide and it has been pockmarked by the feet of the various visitors since the last high tide. The low angle of the sun emphasises the hundreds of tiny depressions. The sloping cliff beyond is Higher Bosistow Cliff, and the slot-like natural arch is known as Zawn Pyg.
