Carved stone bath, Harehope
This is the uphill view, where the outlet hole can be seen.
Further research suggests that this may be a twelfth-century bath carved by the monks of the order of the Knights of St Lazarus who established a leper hospital to the north of what is now Harehope Farm. See Link
It has also been suggested that the bath may have been used as a juniper press; there are juniper trees in the area.
