Common lizard, Brede High Woods
Common lizard, Brede High Woods
These lizards (Zootoca vivipara) are frequent in Brede High Woods, but easily frightened into cover. If you wait they will usually come out again after a couple of minutes to have their picture taken. This one was in the Holman Wood part of Brede High Woods which are owned and managed by the Woodland Trust.
