Leeds East Bar
Leeds East Bar
According to the blue plaque adjacent, this unassuming piece of stone set into the boundary wall of the parish church was a boundary marker of the medieval town of Leeds. It may have been moved a short distance, as the Lady Beck flows (now culverted) a short distance to the east of this spot and would have been an obvious town boundary.
