Alleyway to Ringwood Social Club
Alleyway to Ringwood Social Club
The club, which includes the brick building on the right of this alley, had been closed for five years. A long planning struggle ensued, culminating in 2016 with permission being granted for redevelopment of the site. As part of the proposals two semi-detached houses and a terrace of three houses were to be built as well as two commercial office units. Parts of the building date back to the 1700s and it was known as The Antelope and Albany Temperance Hotel before WWI. Source: LinkExternal link
