Fawley Power Station demolition in progress
Fawley Power Station demolition in progress
The area in the foreground was formerly occupied by oil fuel tanks for the power station. They have been removed. The building in foreground left might have been associated with pumping equipment to serve the tanks.

Between the two pylons is an SSE 132KV electricity substation (I think). Beyond and to the left of the left pylon is a National Grid 400KV substation, fed by the pylons.

To the right is the disused power station itself with its massive chimney.
