This window, dedicated in June 9th 1929 is "Sacred to the memory of those who have served Christ Jesus in the Sunday School of Eccles Parish Church and have passed to their eternal rest".

The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Eccles has stood on the same site for at least 800 years and is therefore the oldest church in the City of Salford.
